I just received my first MySurvey.com $10 check.
For those who have not heard, MySurvey is a site that allows you to earn points for filling out surveys. Your points can then be redeemed for rewards including cash money!
It took me about a month and a half to earn enough points to get the $10 check. It’s definitely not going to make you rich, but it’s also not very difficult to fill out surveys.
If you’re looking for a way to earn a little money on the side, I definitely would recommend signing up at MySurvey.com.

Remember when I was inspired by Spilling Buckets and signed up to be a mystery shopper?
I’ve since received several offers from both companies but have yet to accept and complete one. And I don’t think I will.
It was nice to sign up and find out what mystery shopping is all about because it’s something I’ve wondered about for years. But now that I got an inside look at what it’s actually all about, I just don’t think it’s for me. Most of the assignments were too far away for me, too time consuming and they paid too little.
I still think that mystery shopping might be a great way to earn some extra income for some people but I’m moving on and looking elsewhere for other sources of alternative income.

Thanks to Spilling Buckets latest posts, I’ve signed up to be a mystery shopper in an effort to increase my alternative income. I registered with both of the companies they have reviewed so far and have already received my first assignment. Unfortunately, I had to decline it because it was too far from home. I’m excited to receive more assignments and hopefully make a little bit of money in the process.

Inspired by this post over at Debt Diet, I’ve signed up at Pure Profile - a make money by taking surveys site. In college, I signed up for a bunch of these sites but never really made any money with it and usually just got a bunch of junk email. I can’t report anything other than that I just signed up and there are about a million profile questions to fill out (if you so choose), but I will keep you posted as I try to earn some extra income.
I know a lot of PF bloggers fill out surveys or read emails for cash or rewards.
Any recommendations for programs that actually work?
