Weekend Spending

by Forest on June 16, 2008

Here’s a brief recap of my spending from this past weekend. Even though I laid low at home, this silly internet allows me to spend money as if I’m out on the town. Anyway, here we go, it’s not technically part of the weekend, but I’ll start with Thursday.

Thursday night, my friends and I went out to dinner to celebrate a birthday. It was a lot of fun. My food and a share of the birthday girl’s ended up costing me $19. I lumped it all into eating out expenses. When I got home from dinner, I bought an ebook for $17. I printed it out and read it during my lunch break on Friday.

I think Friday was a no spend day. I think. Actually, it was the best kind of no spend day, it was Pay Day! I spent Friday night tweaking web designs and messing around with other internet stuff. (Riveting stuff for a Friday night, I know!)

On Saturday, I bought my dad a gift card for Father’s Day. That cost me $20 as I went in with my brothers on it. While I was out of the house on Saturday, I also bought my MN Sportsman’s License so I can legally go hunting and fishing. That cost me $30.50. I’ll be taking a mini-vacation to the family cabin this weekend coming up and I can’t wait! We’re halfway through June and I haven’t been on the water once yet, it’s such a shame. Saturday afternoon, I bought another domain for a different project I’m working on which cost me another $10.  And Saturday night, I just took it easy and watched movies on TV.

Sunday was another no spend day.

All told, I spent $96.50 from Thursday through Sunday. Not worried about that.
