Today’s society being what it is, I hardly ever use cash anymore. When I do, I always save any change I receive and at the end of the day, I put it all in a jar on my desk. When the jar gets full or half full or whenever I am tempted to see how much money is in there, I take it to the credit union.
Last week I took my coin jar in (it was about 3/4 full) and had it counted. I had 96 dollars and 87 cents worth.
I deposited the money in my checking account, brought the jar home and began the process all over again.

I wish mine had that much in it! I am lucky if I get a couple of bucks in mine. That’s awesome!
I rarely use cash, but when I do I always try to use my change to avoid breaking bills, and I try to use pennies as often as possible. I feel that USING my change saves me more money, lol. I’m pretty sure its in my head….but what I’m getting at is I can never accumulate much in a jar. Good for you though….$96 is awesome!
