I’ve always been pretty lucky.
One time I found a winning lottery ticket on the ground. One time I won a dictionary at the state fair. One time I married the prettiest girl I know.
A few months ago, I won a Starbucks gift card on some Twitter contest, but then the guy never sent it to me, so that was kind of unlucky.
But my luck returned last week, when I won this book in a giveaway over at Dinks Finance! Thanks to J. Money for hosting the giveaway.
I’ll let you all know what I think about the book after I’ve read it. Currently, I’m slogging through Moby Dick and I’m enjoying it about 5 out of 10. I usually enjoy classic books, but I’m about halfway through now and I can’t tell why it made it to classic status.

One of my friends read Moby Dick and said she thinks the genius of it is that it’s about a guy wh0 essentially goes crazy because he’s on a mission. Just like the reader who goes crazy on the mission to complete the book.
The opening line is totally brilliant – I think the book gets a huge boost just from that!
