Haircut Breaks the Streak

by Forest on December 11, 2009

Yesterday, I posted that I didn’t plan on spending any money so I would have 3 no spend days in a row.  But after work I stopped off and got my haircut.  $17 later and my no spending streak had ended.  But my hair looks nice!

At least it looks nice so you don’t have buyers remorse. I had a no spend day yesterday two days in a row as well, but I need gas today after work.

Thanks for the swagbucks tips. I have earned 3 certificates so far, but they are still only “validated” not really available.

I need a few no-spend days this month, myself. December is a killer for us.

Eh, I feel like this is OK if you needed a haircut anyway. Shoving off necessary expenses to tomorrow just to get a no-spend day today is just sort of beating the system.

Yeah, I know, it’s kind of gaming but it’s fun to have a streak!

Guy’s haircuts are so cheap! :p I’m in dire need of a haircut myself.. but it’ll be another $55. (I have chosen to get nicer haircut for fewer times a year).

Yeah, they’re pretty cheap but they’re also pretty easy. I used to cut my own hair in college and then had Bird cut it for a while. If I get my haircut once a month, that’s still $200 a year. Maybe I’ll go back to having Bird cut it. We’ve just gotten lazy about it.
