I returned home from the north woods yesterday, and as usual, I was deerless. In fact, I didn’t even see one (though I did hear one!)
I had a great time in the woods and I spent a lot of time thinking, which is one of the best things to do in the woods.
Anyway, I arrived home at about 5 pm last night and Bird and I had a pretty low-key night. We made dinner and then walked to the grocery store for a few things that we needed for the week.
Tonight, while Bird is visiting a friend’s new baby, I will be running to Macy’s to exchange our steak knives that we just bought last week. I also need to run to the post office to mail out some books that sold over the weekend. It should be a relatively uneventful night. After running errands, I will try to find something to eat in my house and then settle down to working on the web and/or reading The Story of Edgar Sawtelle which I just started. Anyone read it?
