My mom’s birthday is next week and I don’t have any ideas of what to get her. I realize that none of you know her, but I figure moms are pretty universal so maybe you guys could help me out with some ideas.
I’ll tell you what I’m not going to get her…flowers.

My mom’s easy because she tells us exactly what she wants, and it’s usually perfume.
This last birthday, we got her what she wanted but she then told me the one thing she *really* wanted was a card. I think probably most moms would love a well-thought-out note.
I was also going to mention perfume. It seems that is what I get my mother for every occasion and she always asks for more.
I nice pair of sheets for her bed would be nice – who doesn’t love to sleep on nice sheets?
A reed diffuser, manicure/pedicure, tickets to some event (movie, concert, play).
